Fall Ball FAQ
Q. How do I register?
A. Create a Sports Connect account (If you do not already have one) & select PLL 2025 Fall Season. To get started please click the link below.

Q. How do I volunteer and what spots are available?
A. Complete a volunteer application & background check during the registration process. Open spots include Team Manager (Owns Team Operations), Coaching Partner/Asst. Coach, Volunteer (Help with practices, games).
Q. Do I have to fill out a background check form?
A. If you plan on having any on field interaction with the children (Manager, coach, team mom, etc) then yes, this is a Little League requirement.
Q. What days are games played?
A. Pre-scheduled games are played Wednesday and Friday, with make ups on Sunday. Senior division may play on different nights to work around PISD and Alvin ISD junior high sports.
Q. When we will find out our practice and game schedule?
A. Coaches will let you know the practice schedule at Meet the Coach. Game schedules will be sent through sports connect before the season begins. You will begin practice before you know when games are.
Q. What is the difference between a player’s ACTUAL AGE & LEAGUE AGE
A. Little League Int’l. has an established league age chart, for the 2026 season.
Q. What are the division by age?

TB - 5's
6U Hybrid CP/TB -6's
7U Coach Pitch - 7's
8U Coach Pitch - 8's
Minor A - 9's
Minor AA- 10's
Minor AAA- 11's
Major - 12's
50/70- 13's
Senior 14-16
*** Please note that it is the age your turn during that school year. Example: You are currently 11 but turn 12 in July. You would be considered 12 and be in Majors.
Q. What type of equipment do I need to provide?
A. Glove, approved USA Baseball Bat, helmet, cleats, bag, pants,belt and socks
Q. How do I know which color socks, pants, and belt to purchase?
A. This will be determined by the team manager and you will find out after you meet your coach at the Meet the Coach event.
Q. How do I know if my players bat is USA Baseball approved?

Q.I registered but haven't heard from my coach?
A. You will not hear from your coach until after our Meet the Coach event. If are you unable to attend our Meet the Coach event, they will reach out.
Q. My player wants to be with his friend, how can I make sure they are on the same team?
A. Players are drafted onto teams. There is no guarantee you will be on a certain team unless you are a coach or assistant coach.

Group I
Q. What counts as a proof of residency? (Must submit 1 from each category)

1. Driver’s License (photo ID of parent(s) or guardian(s) with qualifying residence address)
2. School records (home address of player’s parents or guardians)
3. Vehicle records (i.e., registration, lease, etc.)
4. Employment records
5. Insurance documents (with residence address)
Group II
1. Welfare/childcare records
2. Federal records (i.e., Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)
3. State records
4. Local (municipal) records (Includes City of Pearland water bill)
5. Support payment records
6. Homeowner or tenant records
7. Military records

Group III
1. Voter’s Registration
2. Utility bills (i.e., - gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, waste disposal)
3. Financial records (loan, credit, investments, etc.)
4. Medical records
5. Internet, cable, or satellite television records
NOTE: Example – Three documents from the same Group (utility bill, cable bill, and bank statement) constitute only ONE document.
