What to expect when playing baseball at Pearland Little League

Practices:  Practice locations and times will be scheduled for teams after the player draft has taken place.  Your player's coach will contact you to advise of practice times, dates, and location.  During the fall each team is scheduled for at least one practice a week at the Dads Club. Your coach may elect to practice more than one practice and that will be at a different location chosen by the manager, Your child is expected to attend practice in order to play in the games.  Failure to attend practices can affect your child’s playing time.  There are limits outlined in the Whitebook for ITB-PW.  There is no limit for Minors, Majors, Seniors but the fall typically does not practice more then 2-3 times a week. 

Games:  We guarantee 8 games for ITB-Sr divisions (possibly more). Games will take place Wednesday & Friday for ITB- Major and Monday and Wednesday for Seniors. The earliest games beginning at 6:00 PM and the latest games of the night starting at 8:00 PM.  Sunday’s are reserved for make-up games. Every effort will be made to minimize the number of late games for the younger age divisions and to evenly distribute late games across teams in general.

Season:  Pearland Little League is focused on creating a fun, competitive, and developmental environment in the fall season.  At the conclusion of the season there will be an end-of-season tournament.

Pearland Little League’s Fall Registration

•  Fall Ball is open for league ages 4-16 (We utilize the 2024 league age chart for fall seasons - see below)
•  PLL’s Fall Ball program is a non-competitive instructional league
•  Players who live outside PLL’s boundary may play in PLL's Fall Ball if your local Little League doesn't offer Fall Ball
•  For the Spring 2024 season, players MUST live within PLL's boundaries to play 

2023 Fall Ball Registration Information

•  The registration fee is $160 per player, $175 for Jr/Sr.
•  There will not be an early or late registration 
•  Each player will receive a shirt & hat
•  Expectation should be each player will play 8 games
•  Registration ends August 25, 2023 at 11:59pm CST

•  Registration Dates July 17, 2023 – August 25, 2023
•  Fall ball drafts (Players do not attend) -September 6-8th, 2023
  
•  Dicks Meet the Coach event - September 10th, 2023
  
•  Practices start – Week of September 11th, 2023
•  Games start – Week of September 18, 2023
•  Season Ending tournament– Week of November 6-10, 2023
