Spring Tryouts (Really they are evaluations)

For the Spring season at PLL we have all participants go through an evaluation (tryout) for the coaches in their respective divisions. This allows the coaches to create a rank order list of the players for drafting purposes. 

We typically offer two dates for tryouts and the child must attend one or the other. If they are unable to attend then an email must be sent to the player agents to explain the situation. 

The Player agents will send out tryout numbers prior to the tryout dates. 

Tryout day - Player will arrive and check in at the field they are assigned to (below) and will line up by tryout number. 
Equipment - Please bring Helmet, Bat, Glove, and hat. 
Evaluation - Each player gets 3-4 pitches to hit (or off the Tee), on the final pitch they sprint out of the box all the way to third, they get their hat and glove there, and then take 3 ground balls at Shortstop, followed by 2-3 Popflys, they then go to first base and catch the throw from the player after them.
